Research And Implementation Of Metadata Interchange Technology Based On CWM

The Common Warehouse Metamodel is a introduction to the Standard by Object Managemet Group.It defines a currency language and interchange mechanism for metadata.It can solve the program that different product tools can not compatible the interior meta-model and metadata interface. Accordingly it is the hotspot of the research on CWM solvetion project.The text analyses and researchs CWM technical on the foundation of metadata integration project,in allusion to the program of metadata format disagreement on the metadata interchange model. It brings forwards a solving project of the system on CWM. The text analyses the malpractice of the conventional metadata interchange system first of all. On the foundation,it designs a metadata interchange project model on CWM.On designing,it transforms metadata into a compatible interchange format on CWM XMI by modeling. And then, it realizes the XMI interchange by XMI files building rules.Finally, it is transformd into a sharing data format which can be recognized by any exterior tools.Thereinto,it give a design of the extract arithmetic and modeling step of modeling metadata.The design of the project has been applied and validated on the post training system. It indicates that the data interchange program is not the system bottleneck in any circumstances by system practicing. Whereas,it is found that the system load should be aggravated by the CWM XMI interchange files.It is still the program of how to optimize and design.
