With the economic development, people have more and more security concerns. As one of the most important branch of security, video surveillance system has also been huge developed. In the video surveillance system, it is mainly the dome camera that is used for the video capture as the front device. In this thesis, for the reason that the dome camera night vision function is imperfect in the video surveillance market currently, the infrared laser dome camera as the research object is been researched in deep, and it proposes effective solutions. It provides the technical support and theoretical guidance for the related researchers, and also provides the technical support and theoretical guidance for the applying of night vision technologies and related products developing.The primary contents in this thesis are listed as follows:1. The background and significance of this thesis are expatiated. The night vision issues of the dome camera and their development are also analyzed and compared. The infrared laser is used instead f the LED and other light source to achieve the dome camera night surveillance with stable performance and good effect.2. It researches on the basic structure of infrared laser device, and proposes the solutions of infrared LD wavelength and power selection, power supply and optical system view angle correction issues. The research ensures the safety of infrared laser device and provides the technical support and theoretical guidance for the applying of night vision technologies and related products developing.3. It researches on the structure and control technologies of the infrared laser dome camera, and proposes the ways to make infrared laser dome camera in structure and control aspects, and in particular proposes the control ways related infrared laser device and motion control which make dome camera easy to use and performance well.4. According to the compare experiments in different light source, different power and different distance conditions, it proves their effects on the infrared laser dome camera, and provides the experimental basis for the feasibility and superiority of the infrared laser dome camera in the thesis. This thesis has great significance for our development in security surveillance.
