The magnetic field measurement technology has a long history. As the physical phenomena, physical principle of electromagnetic induction, magnetic modulation, electromagnetic effects and superconducting effects have been found and effective application, magnetic field measurement technology has been greatly developed. At present, relative mature magnetic field measurement methods are:Magnetic method, Electromagnetic induction method, Magnetic saturation method, Electromagnetic effect method, Magnetic resonance method, Superconducting effect method, Magneto-optic effect method and etc. The magnetic field sensors which are based on the above principles can be divided into low, medium and high. Three types strength magnetic field sensor can reaction, and application in different areas of technology. With the increasingly high demand for accuracy, the development direction of magnetoresistive sensor is towards to a high sensitivity, high resolution, miniaturization and electronic equipment compatibility.This paper conducts a detailed study on the operation principle and application of the magnetoresistive sensor. It designs the three-dimensional magnetic field system based on magnetoresistive sensor HMC1001/2. According to the design process, the whole measurement system is divided into five modules including magnetic signal detection circuit, set/reset pulse circuit, bridge offset eliminate circuit, signal conditioning circuit, A/D conversion and data display circuit. Each module is verified after theoretical analysis, calculation, simulation, welding circuit, and experimental debugging. It has advantage of small size light weight, high sensitivity and high resolution.In the following chapter, the paper introduces the design of hardware and software in detail. According to the characteristic of set and reset, it gives two simple and feasible measurement output methods, measures and analyzes experimental results. It also summarizes the EMC problems and treatment methods in the circuit design process.Finally, the paper summarizes the design work and inadequate.
