Recently, the competition of Telecom markets is gradually fierce.It is significant to apply the measures of data analysis effectively to resolve the problems of business affairs.In this background,the key is to study clients,except to study the basic attributes,we must further study their consuming behaviors. The correlative researches which bringing evident benefits are less at present.,and most of them are focus on cliental values ect.This paper integrates the technologies of OLAP and Data mining to analyse the cliental consuming behaviors of telecom.the purpose is to find out the consuming clusters' characteristics and relative rules to assist the decision-makings of market.This paper analyses the three months consuming data of Yueyang in billing system, designs the fact constellation of consuming behavior theme.On the base of the fact constellation,this paper applys OLAP technology, establishes the cubes of consuming behavior character and consuming hierarchys,by slicing, stripping and rotating, acquires structure of consumer demands, the hierarchys of consumption and the cicada's characteristics of the clients' expense behaviors in the past.Through OLAP methods,we know that the "more fixing less using"problem of fixed telephones is exist in this region.Furtherly,this paper apply the Data mining technology, brings forward using the method of clustering to analysize the "more fixing less using" problem.In this research,this paper chooses different targets according to the clients' requirements, compares all kinds of data prepareing methods,at last establishes the cluster model, fractionizes five clusters, finding out the characteristics of high value client cluter and others,and the suggests the rational proposals. Data mining takes the measures of CRISP-DM methodology as basis, applys the theory of odd factor variance to evaluate and publishs this model.This paper realizes the analysis system of consuming behavior, acquires some useful results and puts forward relative directive ideas for decision-making.
