Information management applies the advanced idea to manage all information resources in printing enterprise. Since the information management can help enterprises to build a good circle of production which has low consumption and high efficiency, it is increasingly welcomed by the domestic printing enterprises.JDF technology uses Job Definition Format as the unified format to describe the various types of process information and builds a job ticket throughout the production process. The system is designed like this: it gets the detailed information about product as well as production by parsing and processing JDF ticket, and this information is useful for the system to perform functions such as job prepare, order tracking and the business on internet. Based on this idea, the paper takes use of Document Object Model (DOM) to parse JDF tickets and at last the system is developed by using Java, JSP and database technology. With JDF technology, the printing enterprise's Order Management System reduces the duplication of data input, obtains the real-time production information and thus promotes the high efficiency production.
