DOA (Direction of Arrival) is an important research direction in the field of array signal processing, the technology has a very wide range of applications in the radar, seismic, communications, sonar and other areas. Research of super-resolution array has been very active, it is general that using multi-channel receiver system to get array covariance matrix, which can achieve the super-resolution measurement. The space spectrum estimation methods based on multi-channel receiver system have achieved good results in practice. However, while the number antenna element increases, the number of receivers increases. The cost of hardware systems will undoubtedly become more expensive. Therefore, a technology to overcome the shortcomings mentioned above is urgently needed.Single-channel receiver system came into being. Since there is only one receiver, it has significant advantages on the price and complexity of the system. The study on the measurement method to single-channel receiver is rarely published. In this paper, in-depth study of the covariance matrix array of data recovery methods based on the array single-channel receiver, the establishment of appropriate space spectrum estimation model, a single-channel approach of sampling one at a time to high resolution direction finding is given and speed up computing time of direction finding of the single-channel receiver, the major work can be summarized as follows:1. Introduce basic knowledge of the array of single-channel direction-finding algorithm, setting up the array signal model, analysis of the principles of classical MUSIC algorithm, giving the computer simulation results, giving the principle of a single-channel high-resolution direction-finding receiver.2. Focused on key technologies of the data covariance matrix R restore of array single-channel receiver direction-finding algorithm, giving restore method of a random method and a particular method, the simulation experiment indicated that we have obtained the quite ideal results based on each kind of restructuring output covariance matrix technology direction finding.3. Studying solution of coherent processing technology based on uniform linear array of single-channel receiver. When exist coherent signal sources, achieving a better effect analog simulation of high-resolution estimation of single-channel receiver, the results have demonstrated accuracy and the feasibility of the spatial smooth algorithm in the single channel spatial spectrum estimation. 4. A single-channel approach of sampling one at a time to high resolution direction finding is studied, introducing an array processing approach that only requires the array outputs to be sampled one at a time by a single channel receiver. According to single channel receiver, we establish a new model which is structurally similar to the conventional array model. This allows the direct application of most conventional high resolution DOA estimation. The feasibility of this approach is demonstrated with simulation. A modified single-channel receiver DOA estimate of super-resolution solutions is proposed, the method adopted by the arbitrary array implementation of transformation, the actual sensor array will be expanded into several different virtual array aperture arrays, effective in increasing the number of elements and thus increase the number of signal sources and enhance array of coherent capacity, through theoretical analysis and simulation results show the effectiveness of the method and fine sexual.5. The study based on the genetic algorithm optimization array antenna element to the single measurement method is introduced. By reducing the number of elements and optimizing the location of the antenna element, single-channel receiver and antenna array does not need whole switched on. Thus it reduces the computation. For direction finding of single-channel receiver, the computation time has been significantly reduced.
