Design And Implementation On Video Monitoring System Based On RTSP And H.264 Encoding

The current market for video monitoring systems is limited by network bandwidth and needs to show high-quality video images. The paper designs the video monitoring system which is based on the better scalability in Real-time streaming protocol and the H.264 encoding. The system achieves the remote control, the implementation of authority control and encryption mechanisms which ensure the security of network monitoring.First we study the application of video monitoring system at home and abroad, and then analyze the advantages and disadvantages of market monitoring system. Analysis the technologies related to the development of monitoring system, and design the proposed improvement programs, while describe the overall structure of this system and the association among video generator, streaming media servers and network players. Then we introduce the working mechanism of the video generator, mainly complete it from the video capture card to access the raw UYVY video data, and then we have a video encoder for encoding and compression package using the AVI stream to generate the archive file. Then, the streaming media server via RTSP/RTP/RTCP protocol to send compressed packets to network monitoring end, and uses DirectShow framework for the development of network streaming media player through the H.264 video codec to achieve real-time monitoring system playing and playback mode, that contains video play and pause.Finally, the video monitoring system based on Real-time streaming protocol and H.264 encoding technology, which through from the encoding, frame rate, delay and other aspects of performance tests to demonstrate the system in these areas has greatly improved. The system has a good scalability, practicality and versatility.
