The Study And Realization Of PDM System In Manufacturing

With the development of computer and digitized information, the application of CAD/CAM and manufacturing technology has become a key standard to judge the industrial modernization of a country. PDM inherits and develops the advanced core idea of integrated manufacturing of computer and realize a method to manage the products data and relative process with integration approach. PDM is a engineering technology to comprehensively control the products data, resources and operational process of an enterprise lifecycle, the main function of PDM includes the management of the relative data, products configuration and the operational process of an enterprise. The Chinese name full name of PDM is Product Data Management, it is a technology to manage all the relative data of products (including the information of the parts, configuration, document, CAD data and limits of authority) and all the related process of products.Focus on the statement of definition, development, structure and function of PDM, combined with the application of PDM technology, this thesis introduced the position of PDM in the enterprise, analyzed in detail the main functions of PDM and studied the key models of PDM system the structure and configuration of products introduced the multi-view management of products structure, the structural tree of products, with the case of PDM application in Wolf engine Corp., the thesis provided the configuration models and practice method on the basis of various configuration principles. As a member of PDM project of Wolf engine Corp., the author mainly focused on the definition and entity of comsumers, the summary of various operation procedures and summary of all kinds of operation models, the methodology of practice ect., the author will explain the above according to her practical work.I will show my appreciation to other colleagues in this project and introduce the quoted material.
