As basis of automotive industry, auto parts industry grows faster and faster with increasing marketing requirement. Traditional manual information management can no longer satisfy the real demand. Automatic information management becomes nowadays a trend for better information sharing, increasing of management efficiency and cost reduction.In this paper, design, realization, testing and analysis of automatic information management based on workflow have been introduced. Goal of system design and requirement are firstly defined. Principle of workflow, including WWF workflow in this system is introduced. System modelling has been given out by using UML in form of process flow chart, use case diagram and conceptual class diagram. Functional designs include new/old parts management, parts sales and statistics and are described by package diagram, class diagram, sequence diagram (collaboration diagram) and flow chart. Database is designed by using E-R diagram and database table structure. Document transmission format, workflow template and process controlling have been detailed designed. Systematic functions including core process and user interface implementation have been realized by ASP.NET and WWF workflow. Test conditions and results have been analyzed as well. At last, a brief summary has been made to list the main work and to point out the further work according to real performance of the system.The performance has proved the efficiency of the system as a solution to the current issues.
