Design And Implementation Of Teaching Workload Management System

The calculation and statistics of teachers'teaching load is one of the main routine for teaching departments in colleges and universities. As the teaching reform goes, teaching management becomes harder and more complicated. Therefore, traditional artificial checking can not meet the demands of colleges and universities'teaching management in and abroad any more.Nowadays, a great many colleges and universities are speeding up the process of Campus informationization. And also, with the help of modern information technology and management theories, it is a main trend for them to set up a information management system. Although some colleges and universities have been on the road of using computer management system to deal with faculty load, it is difficult for such kind of system to be used among different universities because every university has their own method of calculating faculty load. Thus, most of them have to do the work by the system that developed according to their own conditions.As for Hanshan Normal University, artificial checking about faculty load is also being used at present. We haven't developed or purchased any relevant computer management software, which has been a bottleneck of teaching management. This essay, proceed from the reality, will attempt to develop a set of management system for checking the faculty load by ourselves.The development of the system will begin with analyzing users'demand and get the information from the investigation done by relevant personnel. After collecting and analyzing the demand information, we will divide the function module reasonably. The system will adopt SQL Server to store some relevant data, then program and design the system by using ASP technology. Finally, the system will be tested, if not so good, it will be modified and perfected until it reaches the required standard, so the system is developed.
