EAM (Enterprise Asset Management) is a summary of enterprises information solutions for asset-intensive enterprise. Raising assets utilization and lowering the maintaining cost is main goal for EAM, which centralizes on optimizing enterprise maintenance recourses. By means of information, EAM can adjust the maintenance schedules and relating activities. Raising the equipment utilization can get more additional income; optimizing enterprise maintenance recourses can cut down the cost, which helps enterprise raise its economic benefit and marketing competitiveness. Successful EAM system can be presented as following:EAM=advanced management conception+ full-fledged EAM products+ first-class implementing measures.Traditionally, grain and oil enterprises is kind of enterprise, operating by purchasing and selling. However, grain and oil enterprises transform to the equipment-intensiveness enterprise nowadays. Equipment value takes position of 60% in total enterprise assets and its stability directs influence the efficiency and quality of production. Therefore, in the grain and oil enterprise, guaranteeing the assembly line normal functioning and ensuring production with TOD (time of delivery) is the most important for themselves.This thesis directly analyses the definition of enterprise asset management (EAM). Mainly, its focus on the management thoughts of EAM. Through introducing the development history and the relationship between EAM and ERP, it shows us the important role EMA play in the modern enterprises development. EAM systems mainly are comprised by:inventory management, equipment control, work order management, purchasing management, PM (project management), etc. The key point is that custom-order, quick report generation, log record and system integration can insure EAM systems high efficiency. This thesis takes Yi Hai group's EAM implementing as a study case, analyzing the demand of company, which decides its Trace Mode, and also it helps enterprise design and improve the software. Furthermore, this method can decrease 10% working time; lessen 25% of equipment spares stocking and 10% avoiding downtime.
