Design And Implementation Of University Foreign Language Educational Resources Center

As the Internet's rapid developing and updating of educational resources, it had higher requirements on educational information of foreign languages teaching and learning. Facing huge of television platform resources and internet resources, it will be difficult to meet the individual needs of teachers and students if blind search in our lives. Build a Foreign Language Education Resource Center will be a good solution for this problem. Teachers and students are provided the platform to search and share knowledge resources.Based on Foreign Language Education Resource Center of Shanghai International Studies University, combined with the author's internship and practice in the project, this essay studies technologies and their appiications for construction of foreign languages education resource. Foreign language educational resources center consists of the network television system, resource platform system and storage system of three modules. This thesis elaborates design, function and features of every model according to the structure of the system. As follows are detailed design works:(1)Network TV system has extensive permission settings, including channel classification, channel management, channel add, channel modification, channel authorization, notice management. And N+1 parallel redundant power supply design at any time more than one of the UPS to provide protection for the important equipment.(2)ln the resource platform system, the standardization of the resources lays a good foundation for future resource exchanges and sharing. And by access to Foreign Language Association Foreign exchange platform, multi-channel access to more and more valuable teaching resources. Powerful form of technology enables the system to support almost all common formats as to realize the full compatibility. And each way of terminal conversation automatically retry to connect within a specified time by smart technology when the network connection is lost for some reason.(3) "FC SAN" advanced storage systems meet the various needs and applications in the future. And the storage system to facilitate accessibility to upgrade in newer technology began.
