| Nowadays, various integrated power chips, with the rapid development of electronic technology, are rapidly developed and applied. Notebook computers have ran into almost every family, and become to the current most important consumer electronics. However, with the popularization and growing range of application of notebook computers, the improvement of its tonal quality is being seriously considered, and which leads to the application of audio amplifier for the audio input. AB audio power amplifier, the current most popular amplifier used in audio unity, is designed to meet the demands.In the first part, we analysis the advantages and disadvantages of various amplifying circuits. And then, we proposed a circuit including audio differential input, voltage amplification level and power output stage. We applied a kind of audio power amplifier IC at the audio input circuit to improve the range of application of the notebook computers, from office to entertainment venue, readily satisfy different people. In the test experiment, we used sinusoidal audio signal 20Hz to 20KHz. And we achieved good results and desired output power.Finally, with advantages of the AB power amplifier, a kind of low-power AB power amplifier with rated voltage of 5V, output power of 2W, and the load of 2?,was designed for notebook computers.In summary, on the basis of the application of traditional AB power amplifier, the novel scheme of AB power amplifier meets the design requirement. |
