WEB-based online examination system is accompanied by network technology and database technology, which can test the students anywhere and anytime by means of network. Online examination system solves the examination problem of online education effectively and also plays an important role in promoting the traditional examination.In this paper, based on the current situation of Qingdao Hotel Management College, the writer investigates the characteristic product of online examination system in the NET platform after the detailed analysis of the current situation of this system. This paper contains the research background and its significance, the current situation at home and abroad, the related technology used in its development and the whole process of designing the system.This online-test system uses UML modeling and B / S three-tier architecture. With the design platform of ASP.NET, the back-end database of SQL SERVER 2000, supplemented by WEB database, this system achieved many functions, such as RQT, online test, examination resource management, system management and the score online of the objective questions. After logging on the system successfully and reading the examination announcement, the students can select the test subjects to complete the test and this system can automatically provides the scores of your objective questions. As to the system management, it is applied to the management of test course, candidates'and teachers'information and the test results. The examination resource management is used to the addition, edition and the deletion of the test and determines the containment of the test paper. The personnel information management can add, modify, delete and inquire user information, and the performance management can modify, delete performance information. At last, the subject management is mainly to add, modify the test-subject information and announce the time of the test.This system ensures the user-friendly interface and enhances the security restriction. The database system contains all teachers'and students'name of this college and only the appropriate one can register this system to ensure that this system is not open to the one outside. Finally, this paper refers to the disadvantages and the future work to improve this system.
