Wireless sensor network(WSN)has high status that cannot be replaced in the field of wireless communication.because of the superiority of WSN,it has wide outlook in the field of industry, agriculture and military affairs.WSN is componsed. It is composed of numerous tiny sensor nodes and completes the data communication, data processing and other functions. The WSN nodes localization technology is an important part of WSN, in wireless communication systems, most of wireless sensor nodes need to know the location information to handle the data,so localization technology, includinglocalization algorithm is one of important research directions for most researcher. Localization algorithm of WSN in accordance with the standard is divided into many different categories ,this paper reasearches Range-based localization algorithm DV-Distance , which is the development and evolution of Range-free DV-Hop localization algorithm ,and Therefore, this paper describes and analyzes DV-Distance localization algorithm,by analyzing RSSI technique and DV-Distance localization algorithms,proposed an improved DV-Distance localization algorithm, this improved localization algorithms is on the one hand presents a method to improve the accuracy of RSSI ,this method is based on the latest system on chip CC2431 chip which is embedded ZigBee technology, according to parameters of localization engine in the CC2431 to analyze and improve the accuracy of RSSI ranging; the other hand, add weight to the original DV-Distance localization algorithm, making the estimated distance is more close to the real distance ,and then get estimated coordinates of the of the unknown node by cyc-centroid localization algorithm.By using of simulation software to prove that the improved DV-Distance localization algorithm than the original DV-Distance localization algorithm greatly improves localization accuracy and significant reduction in localization error , improves the connectivity. this improved localization algorithm to the node where more intensive shows location algorithm stability. The improved localization algorithm has a high practical value,especially using at WSN which uses ZigBee technology.
