Virtual Reality Technology is considered as one of the modern technologys in computer science in 20th century.And it makes great sense to apply Virtual Reality Technology to Medical system.The shortage of emergency training resources makes it difficult for medical staff and students to practically grasp the operating-emergency skills,while,through the Virtual Reality Technology we can realize the study on human organs and therefore reduce medical accidents effectively.So the study on Virtual Reality Technology is very important.The advantage of Virtual Reality Technology lies in the fact that it will realize the truthfully interactivity between human being and computers.The modeling of tissues and organs is the first key link to for realizing the medical virtual reality system,and good Texture mapping and lighting technology are necessary in order to get vivid pictures.For the human organs are changing by time,we also have to deal with the dynamic process of them.Based on the study of 3D-virtual heart pulsation,it also has a critical requirement for model's truth in order to satisfy customers' needs for Modeling of tissues and organs.In this article,we use Texture mapping technology as the main technic to deal with the realism of Surface Modeling.People distinguish subjects with same appearance through the texture details of the subjects' surface,so the imitation for texture details very takes an important part in the technology of compounding vivid pictures.The impact of global lighting provides customers important informations about the shape,materials and relative locations of subjects in virtual scene,therefore,computers' ability to form vivid pictures is improved greatly.And we integrate the global lighting into interactive application to reach the Real-time rendering of global illumination scene.In this article,we take human organ---heart for example to elabrate how to apply Virtual Reality Technology in medical virtual reality system.As one of the important human organs, heart is always the focus of study in clinical medicine.And the development of virtual reality and 3D reconstruction technology makes the study on 3d virtual heart possible.Heart has two auriculas and two ventricles. Who's surface is flexible and the dynamic process of hearts' pulsation is that auricula inhaled into ventricle,then heart ventricle shrinks and squirt blood.For heart's movement is flexible,applying 3DSMAX software to the modeling of heart in3d,and in connection with the dynamic characters that heart model endow heart's beat, the dynamic movement of intimating heart and the whole process of reappearing heart's movement provides theoretical basis for the visual study on human heart.This article simply introduce the technologies used in realizing the system and analyses the situation and prospects of applying this kind of Virtual Reality Technology in our country.
