In this paper, first we study the basic theory of the Rational B-Spline, the least square method for the matrix, and the pipeline program in OpenGL.In the second and third sections, we consider the models of the highway and then give the detail programs for designing the models for the sur-face for the highway (including plane curve and the vertical curve) any the intersections.In the forth section, we give some improving technologies, including the joint of the dynamic surface of the highway and the surface of the earth, the bounding box of in the horizon, the displaying of the mapping pictures by ranks, and the texture-mapping programs.These algorithms have a great im-provement of the quality for the three-dimensional simulation of the highway. In the fifth section, we give simple steps for simulating the three-dimensional highway in the computer. In the last, a satisfactory highway constructed with 3D virtual reality technology appears.
