With the development of the system of government, management standards ofChina’s lawyer sector have made a great progress in30years. The whole field hastaken on an entirely new look and gained good reputation. However, attoney theprofession in China is still in primary stage of decelopment by developed countries’standard.Against the backdrop of overall promoting the form of the judicial system, thisessay, proceeding from the analysis on the characteristies of the enterprises which aresuitable for applying balanced scorecard, attempts to sum up the similarities anddifferences that the application of balanced scorecard in law firms and enterprises byconcerning the theory of balanced scorecard and its application using the method ofcomparative analysis, and further discusses the feasibility of balanced scorecard’sapplication in law firms.Moreover, dealing with the TY law firm, this essay optimizes the performanceappraisal system by examining the cause of problem. The main contents of this essayincludes the following aspects: the introduction of TY law firms’ performance feedback, the problems of TY law firms’ performance feed back system and the cause ofreasons, and the importance of using the balanced scorecard to make improvements inthe performance feed back system, proposing plans after making improvements. Theimportant content of this essay is the optimum design of the performance feed backsystem. Finally, this essay provides the design of ideas and methods about theapplication of balanced scorecard in performance appraisal for TY law firm’smanagement.
