Marx and Engels’ view of international order is an importantcomponent of Marxist theory. Although these two revolutionarypioneers did not address the issue of “international order” in theirwork specifically, its objective existence could not be denied orignored. In fact, Marx and Engels’ view of international orders isintegrated in their work with plenty of discussion about theinternational situation through application of historical materialismand dialectical method, showing rich thought of international order.Working on Marx and Engels’ literature and analyzing their thoughtof international order could enrich the theoretical system of Marxism.Organizing the statements of international order proposed by Marxand Engels could sort out a relatively intact theoretical system. Itis also necessary to emphasize the unification of history and logic sothat the research of Marx and Engels’ view of international order inthe context of China could be pushed forward and innovated.The paper starts with the description of international order inMarx and Engels’ literature and follows by the analysis andinterpretation about the main thread of Marx and Engels’ idea forinternational order, and summary of its basic characteristics. Next,by comparing with the Western thought in international order, theauthor further explores the advantages of Marx and Engel’s view andended with the discussion about the perspective, contemporary valueand future prospect in the context of China according to Marx andEngel’s view of international order.Marx and Engel’s view of international order should be treated asa whole with internal connections. It emphasizes the unification of history and logic and combines the statement of practice anddialectical method together. Marx and Engels stress the historicalresearch and geographical latitude, and pay close attention to theresearch of core questions such as international order, social equity,and international justice. Marx and Engels’ view of internationalorder is significantly different from the Western’s view. It avoidedthe flaws of the traditional Western view of international order andexplained the characteristics, laws, and principles of the interactionamong different countries based on the nature of humancommunication.Marx and Engel’s view of international order is an evolving andconstantly improving scientific system. Summarizing Marx andEngel’s view of international order and learning the outstandingachievement from traditional Western’s concept of international orderis an important work to promote the research of Marxisminternational order in the new era.
