Researches on the adaptation of "Rickshaw", mostly concentrated in its film adaptation, and for the comic adaptation of this work was rarely addressed. The comic creative content mostly based the published novel, so it plays a very huge role in a very long period of time for outstanding literary classics comics spreading popularity. The many features of the ‘Rickshaw’ make it an important source of the story adaptation. From the " Rickshaw Biography" in 1951 to WuWenhuanadaptation in 1984, the history of Rickshaw comic adaptation spanning over 30 years, this paper selected the most representative of the five versions,in addition to the two versions mentioned above, as well as the 1953 Leng Qian adaptation, the 1963 adaptation and the 1982 adaptation, the five versions reflect different periods adapter’s conception for the adaptation of the same novel.The literature and comics have intricate relationships, adaptation of a literary is equivalent to a re-creation of art, and comic book adaptations is also inspired by the era of the environment and its adapter, by analyzing the art of comics features such as composition, characterization, narrative means, background rendering, story, we can understand the inner laws of art comic creative adaptation, so we can also summarizes a few available laws for the adaptation of the literature and fill the "Rickshaw" ’s studies in comic adaptation.In addition, this paper combined with "Rickshaw" and the comic book adaptation text researchesto get a deep discussion and analysis for this book.we will make a meticulous discussionfrom the "Rickshaw" interpretation history and the adaptation advantages, comic books and novels, five different versions of the comic book adaptation.Not only the studies will provides reference and thinking for the adaptation of the classic text, but also make an important complement to the text adapted history.
