Since the ancient times, China has been very famous because it was a state which was full of rites. In the ’Zhouli’, ceremony is divided into auspicious, ominous, guest, military and fine. The five rites were used to help the monarch to build and settle every nation under the state. There was a ceremony in ’The military rite’ named ’the war’s ceremony’, which is the object of this article. It was a pity that although ’the war’s ceremony’ was very significant, but there was not any detailed interpretation to explain it in ’Zhouli’. Under this circumstance, in order to be clear about what it is, people have to depend on other information to make a thorough inquiry. The academic domain has a same viewpoint that ’the war’s ceremony’ is a kind of ceremony about wars.The era of Zhou was the times which advocated rites. Rites ran through every side of the society, even though the cruel and bloody wars. In the period of warring states, rites were ruined little by little. The phenomenon of treacherousness had been normal in the battlefield. So, ’the war’s ceremony’ suffered serious impact. Even though, it is not impossible to research ’the war’s ceremony’. We can seek these information form ancient books. Through the understanding of the original texts and contact, we can explain the ceremonies and principles about ’the war’s ceremony’. Besides, we can expound these cultures and concepts combined with the era of Zhou’s specialty.This article researches ’the war’s ceremony’ from three aspects, the etiquettes before the war, the etiquettes during the war and the etiquettes after the war. The etiquettes before the war happened before the both sides of the war had arrived the place where they would fight with each other. This part will include these searches about ’Bu Shi’, ’Ji Si’, ’Shi Shi’ and so on. The etiquettes during the war happened during between the moment that the both sides of the war had arrived the place where they would fight from the end of the war. This part will include these searches about ’Guan Bing’, ’Zhi Shi’, and other significant ceremonies and principles during the war. The etiquettes after the war happened after the end of the war. This part will include these searches about ’Zhen lv’, ’Xian Jie’, ’Yin Zhi’, ’Feng Shang’ and so on.
