| Jingtu wuhui’s chanting Buddhist rites is a chanting Buddhist dharma sect founded by the four ancestors of Jingtu. The texts of the chanting Buddhist rites of Jingtu wuhui include three volumes(Volume I,Volume II)and one volume(Volume I,Volume II)of the brief chanting Buddhist rites of Jingtu wuhui, which is a collection of the great achievements of Jingtu Xingyi. These two texts were widely spread in the middle and late Tang and early Song Dynasties, and then disappeared in the Central Plains. In the middle of the ninth century, the wuhui Buddhist Chanting ceremony was preserved in the Dunhuang Sutra cave. The wuhui Buddhist Chanting ceremony also entered the field of vision of scholars with the opening of the Sutra cave.In order to meet the needs of ritual application, the musical "harmony" and "set of words" are added to the praise, and the "five meeting chanting Buddha sound" is inserted to chant the Buddha’s name. This form of Xingyi has its own characteristics, enriching and developing the Jingtu clan Xingyi. Not only that, the five associations chant Buddhist rites is also a representative of Buddhist ritual literature.Although predecessors have been involved in the study of its literariness, they only tend to study a single piece of praise, but they have not fully explored the origin and value of these praise from the perspective of the overall form of Xingyi. In view of this,on the basis ofprevious studies, based on Dunhuang manuscripts, and based on the relationship between Buddhist beliefs and rituals,we put the worship of the five guilds under the history of the Pure Land Sect thought, and carried out research on the origin, stylistic sources, literary and artistic characteristics of the worship of the five guilds from the text. This paper is divided into four parts:In the first chapter, the first section mainly summarizes the ideological origin and Mahayana spiritual characteristics of the belief in the pure land of Maituo. The belief in the pure land of Maituo has established its basic theory and practice system based on the "three classics and one theory",and gained the common belief of the common people with its ease of "chanting Buddhism" and the care spirit of "dying and dying".In the second section, based on the previous research on the life and deeds of the Buddha,In the third section, the author analyzes the influence of the structure of the Buddhist Chanting instrument of the five guilds on the Buddhist Chanting instrument of the five guilds, and gives a brief overview of the structure of the Buddhist Chanting instrument of the five guilds. In the second chapter, the author discusses the source of the praise style of the five guilds of pure land. The worship of the five Buddhas is a part of the Buddhist praise. It inherits the music of the Indian Buddhist praise in form and content, and has the charm of Chinese style.Inaddition,as the ritual content of the Pure Land Sect, the five associations chant the Buddha, perform the rites and praise the articles, which has unique charm in the practice of the pure land ceremony and praise the articles, and has its own development history. The third chapter discusses the literary and artistic characteristics of the ceremony of chanting Buddha. The first section divides the richness of the contents into three categories, and further analyzes the popularity and rhetorical diversity of the five associations. The second section interprets the five associations’ chanting of Buddha’s praise and musical forms from sentence patterns, couplets, sets of words, harmony and other aspects, revealing the relationship between these forms and the ritual of the Dharma Association and the popularization of education. In the fourth chapter, based on the Dunhuang manuscripts, from the perspective of the study of manuscripts, the information presented in the manuscripts of the five associations chanting Buddha is analyzed, and it is concluded that the five associations chanting Buddha has been introduced into Dunhuang in the middle and upper leaves of the ninth century, and has been spread in the early Song Dynasty.Through the interpretation of the forms and the phenomenon of copying,it is found that the five associations chanting Buddha and chanting Buddha and chanting Buddha and chanting Buddha and chanting Buddha and chanting Buddha and chanting Buddha and chanting Buddha andchanting and chanting and chanting and chanting manuscripts are also used for sacrificing rites, the ceremony of receiving the precepts and the daily practice and reading of the believers show that the worship of the five Buddhists had a profound impact on the social life and customs of Dunhuang. |
