The structure research of simulating vernacular novels mostly focuses on system and narrative. The structure research of "opening, development, change and conclusion" focuses on the analysis of concrete discourse structure. This paper tries to research on the combination of both and intends to elaborate from four aspects. First, the "opening, development, change and conclusion" has the universal applicability. Second, different structure models of the "opening, development, change and conclusion" in simulating vernacular novels exist. Third, different techniques of writing in "opening, development, change and conclusion" structure have different effects. Fourth, the "opening, development, change and conclusion" is meaningful to the simulating vernacular novels.Exploring the structure theory in music, painting and literature demonstrates the universal applicability of "opening, development, change and conclusion". Then further expounding the "opening, development, change and conclusion" theory is not a simple structure composition in special poetry. It is a rule which exists in textual structure generally. At the same time, the "opening, development, change and conclusion" is a way of thinking in which Chinese ancients understanded the internal rules of objective things and the connection between things. The standard mode can be divided into the single layer structure and the multi layer structure. Besides, the "opening, development, change and conclusion" also has the non-standard mode which can be divided into structure combining "opening" and "development", structure combining "development" and "conclusion" and three-fold structure. The simulating vernacular novels in the Ming and Qing Dynasties have flexible and diverse forms of the "opening, development, change and conclusion" structure.From the writing technique angles which is in the "opening, development, change and conclusion’" structure, different writing technique of opening (including the direct initiation and the separate initiation), writing technique of development (including the following development, the reverse development and the remote development), writing technique of change (including the slow change, the quick change and the multiple change) and writing technique of conclusion (including the quick end and the slow end) separately have effects on promoting the development of plot, increasing the plot twists and turns, strengthening the subject and attracting readers.The "opening, development, change and conclusion’" structure is meaningful to the simulating vernacular novels in the Ming and Qing Dynasties, especially in the theme, the plot content and the recounting order ways. The foreshadowing and the running though clue of plot lead to the result that the theme of the simulating vernacular novels runs though bengining to end. The "opening, development, change and conclusion" structure and different writing technique play the effect of bizarre twists and turns in the plot content. Compared to the West making free with flashback, mostly chronological takes control over the narration of the simulating vernacular novels in the Ming and Qing Dynasties. So it exhibits single characteristics.
