The Influence Of Complex Sentences On The Logic Of Translation And The Corresponding Strategies In English And Chinese

According to the interpreting practice, this thesis summarizes the characteristics of the words and syntax in the source language text, in order to analyze the logical obstacle factors on syntax, element and word order of the complex sentences in English-Chinese simultaneous interpreting. Based on the combination of the theoretical and empirical analysis, the writer proposes several coping strategies. What’s more, complex sentences are among the difficulties in English-Chinese simultaneous interpretation. Therefore, it is important to overcome those difficulties for interpreters. Analyzing and summarizing the difficulties and raising the coping strategies, which are beneficial for promoting the flexibility of the existing language transformation, make interpreters feel easy to deal with the sense-groups while interpreting. At the same time, it helps interpreters keep calm and find out the key information directly and accurately. As a result, a fluency and accurate logical output will be presented to the audience.
