| The Korean War broke out in 1950, the People’s Republic of China participated in the war by the North Korean.So, the direct reason and purpose to establish the PLA Military Engineering Academy( "HEU") is transport technology and talents to the Korean. HEU has trainend a large number of military and technical personnels for the new Chinese naval,especially the Department of the Navy used to shape teaching methods.It adapted to the military needs, occupied a unique position in the history of the National Defense Education in China. In HEU creation process, Soviet provided a series of assistance on teachers and technical aspects,it is very important for HEU to culvite talents and teachnology and it became a beautiful memory and history of friendly exchanges between the two peoples.A number of achievements of HEU were filled the gaps of Naval Research in the young China,it played a crucial role on the growth of maritime forces. |
