Teaching Chinese as a second language, the main ipurpose is to cultivate students’ ability to express and communicate in Chinese. In the section of a Chinese lesson, teaching design is an important playscript with stage directions of Chinese teachers, a good teaching design plays a leading role, so as to achieve a multiplier effect of the classroom. Preparation of Beijing Language and Culture University published is specifically for Chinese beginners to write crash course, this book focus on how to develop the students ability to use language for communication, combining the communicative function and grammatical structure method. From a practical point of view,the writer selected the 28 th lesson “today is colder than yesterday "of the "conversational Chinese 301", make the Mongolian students as the teaching object, designed the teaching process in detail, then according to the specific problems arised proposed measures for improvement, I hope it can offer some reference for Chinese language teachers.Based on its own characteristics of the Mongolian students, and the purpose to cultivate students’ ability of using the Chinese language, to improve the communicative competence through this lesson, the words, text and grammar were detailed explaned, at the same time, the writer design a variety of exercises to help the students deepen their understanding and memory. This article is divided into the following sections:The first part: introduction. This paper introduces background of the research, makes a summary of the related research,and expounds the purpose and significance of the research from the practical view.The second part: the analysis of the teaching design. First, clear teaching principles of the design, and then analyzed the design from the textbooks, course, teaching object, teaching objectives, teaching methods, teaching hours arrangements in detail.The third part: the teaching design. A detailed description of the teaching design case and the teaching process of "today is colder than yesterday". The fourth part: teaching summary. Mainly reflect on the teaching process, according to the actual problems in teaching and students’ errors, analysis of the reasons, put forward the improvement measures, summed up the teaching experience. Then Summarize and analyze the experience and deficiency of this teaching design.The forth part: conclusion. The experience and feelings of the author in this teaching design.
