| A literature was analyzed on the basis of the interpretation on its author for the dominant presentation of the thought of author on his works, such as the Branch Road Lamp’s study in the educational perspective. Through analyses for the Branch Road Lamp on its creative backgrounds, figure designs, expression skills, status and other aspects, this paper is expecting to obscure some viewpoints and references in the literary creations and the educational concepts.In the 18 th century, China was in a relative social stability, further commodity economy development and the city prosperity, known as “the splendid times of Kangxi and Qianlongâ€. However, its social atmosphere was changing among the imperial court and the folk fields with the rampant extravagance and gambling so that many gentry’ families were ruined and produced a lot of “black sheepâ€. Thus, it is concluded that Branch Road Lamp was created from the degeneration of the children from the aristocratic families under the fading state, worsening social atmosphere and prevailing gambles in Qing dynasty.Connotation of the educational concept was revealed through the analyses of various figure images in this works. The image of the family teacher showed the educational viewpoint toward the “educating with love†by author; the image of the private school teacher showed the educational viewpoint toward the “respecting teachers and focusing on teachingâ€, “teacher’s abilities and moralitiesâ€; and the image of social teacher showed the thoughts of employing, civil service and making friends.Educational viewpoints were presented in artistic style through the analyses of the expression techniques structure skills. The Branch Road Lamp embodied its educational view artistic on the vivid drawing techniques and complicated plots. It took the family as a core, recording the ups and downs of one family and spreading it to the whole society at that time. Besides, its educational viewpoints could be embodied on the simple and exact literature language. Its dialect and slang and proper rhetoric made the Branch Road Lamp outstanding among the contemporary works.At last, this paper searched for the origin of the educational viewpoint of Branch Road Lamp in the China ancient novels. Due to its higher educational values than other forms of artistic values in the Branch Road Lamp, this works gained its solid and developing position in the China education novel history.Combined with the above analysis,formed a full recognition for the Branch Road Lamp from the structure, content, educational concepts and artistic characteristics to acquire the reference for its educational concepts and artistic creations. |
