A Comparative Study On Words Of Liaozhai Folk Ballads And The Lamp Over The Branch Road

This article is respectively based on the background of two corpora of Shandong dialect and Henan dialect in Qing dynasty——Liaozhai Folk Ballads and The Lamp Over the Branch Road which as the basic research materials And referring to other coeval documents, I vertically and horizontally unifies a comparison of the vocabulary in the two books.The full text is divided into seven parts:Introduction:This text mainly introduces the research objects and research contents, research significance and methods, proposed materials and release notes in this paper.The first chapter is "synonym". Observe and study four synonyms in the two corpora and discuss their usage in the two books and the development in modern Chinese. They are "yesterday" word, the word ’last year ", the "moon" word, the word "hunger".The second chapter is "homograph ".To analyze the different meanings of "chicken", "honest", "tell", "family status", "man" and "presence" in the two books, and refer to other literature and dialect dictionary to determine the scope of their usage in the dialect.The third chapter is "selective interpretation and comparison of character-words of dialect". To collect dialect words in the two books. Through document retrieval to screen out character-words and explain some words.The fourth chapter is "new words and new meanings". Select out the words used in the book which emerged in Qing dynasty to explore their value to modern Chinese, and point out that the words meaning explained in dictionary is incomplete and cited examples is too late.Summary:Summarize some noteworthy language facts in the two books, and think about the reason of the vocabulary difference between the two books.Appendices:Summarize the words that belong to the character-words of Shandong dialect or of Henan dialect as the appendix.
