A Study On The Hudson Dictionary

Xiaoerjin is a kind of character which spells Chinese and Minority languages with Arabic letters used by Hui, Dongxiang, Salar and Bonan people and part of Tibetan, Mongolian people who have faith in Islam in China. Xiaoerjin literatures existed as early as Yuan and Ming dynasty, and that is still used today. With the historical and cultural development Xiaoerjin literature have been paid more and more attentions. According to the characteristics of the languages it recorded, Xiaoerjin is not only national literature, but also Chinese literature. It is using different writing styles and contents reflect the spirit and cultural history of these peoples.Many studies have been made to explain this text phenomenon (ect.Xiaoerjin), but specific literature has received few attentions and studies.Therefore, the study of specific literature has become a worthy fouce on subject urgently. This paper choosed "Husseini dictionary" as the master copy, According to Pin yin transcription in Chinese of some of the entries to make a comparative study with Mandarin Chinese. In order to have a simple outline to the speech situation of Northwest dialect, this paper also systematically sort and summarize its internal rhyme structure.And in this paper, the overall research in addition to the comparative study of phonological systems and part of the induction and comb to Xiaoerjin literature and Mandarin language, but also do a simple discussion as follows:the situation of existing Xiaoerjin literature; the origin,history and characteristics of Xiaoerjin literature;the relations of Northwest dialect literature and Xiaoerjin literature;the layout,authors,and background of this literature,also refers to the lexical and grammatical phenomenon of this literature. According one literature material to explore the structures and characteristics of internal documents presented.
