Literature Research On Yi Jian

Yijian zhi,by Hong Mai, is a masterpiece of Classical Novels in Song Dynasty. Lu You spoke highly of its value in literature and history, as he wrote the poetry After Yijian zhi, Hong Mai’s talent can match anti lisao, but differ from zhinuohao, the work can make up for the lack of history, meanwhile, making Hongmai a master in literature.”This paper presents the literature achievements of Yijian zhi from the point of philology, narratology, linguistics, cultural science.First, the paper aims to focus on Hong Mai’s attitude to the writing and conception by the light of the main distinguishable feature of that period, his curious characteristic and the influence from his family. Besides, the paper intends to make an analysis of Yijian zhi from the aspect of width of materials and depth of contents. And the main target and content studied from this work is his breath-taking talent selection of source of materials, diversification of the narrative techniques. Meanwhile, the paper intends to comb the literature value and literature influence of Hong Mai ’s works.In short, it is significant to research on Yijian zhi from the view of linguistics, cultural science, and historiography and it has a profound effect on Novels and Dramas of the Ming and Qing Dynasties.
