A Study On Jiujiang 's

Jiading Zhenjiang Zhi was finished in the year of Ningzong(Jiading), host by Shi Mijian,the major of Zhenjiang, written by scholar Lu Xian. The book was seldom appeared in the Directory book after its publication. Jiading Zhenjiang Zhi had 30 volumes. But this book existing only 22 volumes and one volume of overview now. However, so far, there are few scholars studying the book and the results are very limited.Therefore this paper aims to analyze the book detailedly and systematically in order to have a thorough understanding to the book. This paper is divided into four parts:The first part mainly discusses the background of compiling background, editor and version of Jiading Zhenjiang Zhi. Political situation is more nervous in Jiading years of the South Song Dynasty. Compiling local annals becomes the consensus from the monarch to his subjects. Meanwhile Zhenjiang special military position makes local chronicles compilation more important. Jiading Zhenjiang Zhi now has two versions with quite differences. There are Wanwei Biecang and photocopy of bao in the years of Daoguang. This part will focus on the analysis to explore the differences between the two versions.The second part mainly analyzes the style, heritage and its materials of Jiading Zhenjiang Zhi. The Jiading Zhenjiang Zhi inherits predecessors’ style to edit local Chronicles. The book has pointed outline, the clear style, and a wide range reference books. So this part will analyze the above content.The third part focuses on the content of Jiading Zhenjiang Zhi. Because of the change of military defense in the South Song Dynasty, Zhenjiang becomes a military stronghold. So Jiading Zhenjiang Zhi has more military records. This factor also influences the characters of official, sages and social customs, etc. So this part will be in-depth analysis of the above content one by one.The fourth part mainly discusses the historical value of Jiading Zhenjiang Zhi and its influence on local records of yuan. It have two aspects in the historical value. The first is that the book cited a large number of historical data, This part will compile historical data one by one. The second is that compare with the existing historical data, carry on the analysis in this paper. At analyze of the influence of the book, we will found Zhishun Zhenjiang Zhi and Jiading Zhenjiang Zhi have the same style. Through the comparative analysis of the two books, we can know local annals of Song has deep influences on ones of the Yuan Dynasty. And the paper will have further analysis of the evolution of local annals in Dong and Yuan.
