At the beginning of the Peking Opera, the system of troupe followed the Hui troupe, although members of the troupe had advantages and disadvantages, they were in the same position in the troupe. At the time of the troupe organization strictly, the members were prohibited to perform in other troupes.Along with the development of the Peking Opera,“Collective ownership”gradually transition to the main actor as the center of the “star system”, many things had changed,for example,arrangement in the repertoire,income distribution and so on. At the end of nineteenth Century and early twentieth Century, “the special status of stars” in the troupes had been highlighted gradually, organizational principles and operational mode of troupes had made a significant adjustment. In the twenties and thirties of the twentieth century, the outstanding actors had picked troupe, this system became the main form of Peking Opera Troupe.This article from “star system” produced reasons, distribution mode, operation and other aspects to proceed. On this system of inquiry, and discusses the system influence on “contemporary Opera Studio”, take history as a mirror and for the development of contemporary drama better seek a road.
