A Study Of The Collection Of Ancient Novels In The Qing Dynasty

Due to the natural and anthropogenic factors, many ancient books in the spreading process are not so complete. Fortunately, some scholars are devoted themselves into searching and collecting, which makes some of the ancient books reproduced, so they contributed to the development of “Jiyi”. Although most of scholars generally believe “Jiyi” originated in the Song Dynasty, this issue is controversial. There is no doubt it reached its peak in the Qing Dynasty. While the collection of ancient novel has achieved successes during the prosperous period of collection activities. However, because of the low status of classical Chinese novel,and people do not take it seriously, in the spreading process, many books disappear.Besides, a wide range of ancient fiction, classics, history, spread over a subset of the ministries, which brings a lot of inconvenience. Therefore, the compilation of ancient novels does not make a large proportion, hence studies for the ancient Qing Dynasty novel collection still rare.Next, the case will be discussed in three parts. About thirty ancient fictions in the Qing dynasty were collected, private ancient collection accounted for a large proportion. First chapter will demonstrate the private ancient collection in Qing dynasty, including the contents of the ancient process of fiction, contents and origin.The second chapter summarizes these patterns and characteristics of ancient collection fictions. “Jiyi” indicates the source and focus, there is the case of language, the preamble and the legend, and the principles and thoughts. The analysis of ancient novels collection in the Qing Dynasty adopt the principle of seeking common ground on the record, and maintain the credibility of the book, which it specifies in detail of the origin, so that evidence-based and continuous Complete Collection have the extraordinary comprehensive advantages. At the same time, its style is not so perfect,numerous novels are not well-collected and more collection defects repeat again. The third chapter, a deep study of the reason why ancient fiction flourished in Qian Jia period and the real value of the ancient novel collection. The development of ancient fictions matters a lot to the academic development. What’s more, it has a long history,high literature value, scholar also have a profound understanding. The theory of Pu thrive and "Si Ku Quan Shu" have driven in large numbers and rich sources. Ancient Qing Dynasty novel collection not only makes people accumulate experience, read again by people, but also promote the study of the early narrative of the text, and then do a comprehensive inspection based on the social and culture.
