Career psychology and Emotional intelligence are both hot psychology concept developed at the end of twentieth Century. Most of researches on career psychology focus on organizational performance. The research focus tends to think highly of individual occupation career and personality psychology in workplace, with the diversified orientation of research. The concept of career adaptability emerges as the times require. The study discusses the adaptability in work activities and its interaction with work activities. Emotional intelligence is the process individual regulates self-emotion and uses the related emotion ability to respond to internal and external environmental changes. Career adaptability and Emotional intelligence are emphasized on the process of adaptability. Studies have confirmed that both of them can predict the work effect variable, while they are related to individual personality characteristics.The study results of relation between Career adaptability and emotional intelligence are very few. Further research results are needed to be added. Based on the above consideration, this study explored in the following two aspects:Study one, revision of Career adaptability scale. Select 202 state-owned enterprises employees as the initial test objects, examine the items and factor structure of Career adaptability scale, Revised the localization scale with a good reliability and validity; Study two, empirical research. Select 569 state-owned enterprises employees using a large sample as the research objects, analyze the rescent situation of Career adaptability and Emotional intelligence, then compare the differences in organizational and personal feature variables. Then this study also explores the relationship between them. Analysis the advantage of predictive validity.Conclusions showed that career adaptability and Emotional intelligence are significant related. Self emotional evaluation and emotion use can partly predict career adaptability.The effect of self emotional evaluation is greater than it of emotion use.
