| In recent years, more and more high school campus violence has become a major threat to the current campus safety, particularly in remote areas of national boarding school. The rising trend of the campus violence caused widespread concern in the community. How to actively guide students to shape the character of civilization and recreate a peaceful and harmonious school campus environment is a hot issue of social concern.In this paper, the investigator chose 380 students from L High School as the research object, and then analyzed their questionnaires with SPSS software. The investigator tried to find out the current situation of high school campus violence in remote areas of national boarding school and then analyze the causes of the situation. At last, some countermeasures will be put forward to solve the problem. The research obtains the following conclusions:1. The violent situation:(1) In remote areas of national boarding school students score exists difference between boys and girls, being investigated boys “body attacks, verbal aggression†dimension scores were significantly higher. The investigation of girls “anger†dimension scores were significantly higher.(2) In remote areas of national boarding school students score no significant differences in grade.(3) The only child score scored higher than non only child in “body attack and attack behaviorâ€.(4) Overall aggressive of single-parent families is greater than nuclear families and extended families. Single parent family students “physical attack†score significantly higher.(5) There are significant differences in scoring violence between arts students and science students. Science surveyed students’ “physical aggression, verbal aggression†scored significantly higher.(6) Violence is influenced by “peer relationships†and “teacher-student relationshipâ€. The students who have poor relationships with fellow students or teachers score significantly higher than others.In addition, the findings indicate that there is no significant difference in which grade, whether the key classes or students’ academic achievement.2. The causes of violence:(1) The causes from students include phase characteristics of the individual’s physical and mental development, arts and science and gender differences, only-child phenomenon, more attachment fellowship because of full boarding environment.(2) The causes from students’ families include family types, different education level of parents and different parenting styles.(3) The causes from “teacher-student relationshipâ€.3. Countermeasures to be proposed:(1) Individual students need to improve self-control, to improve the psychological quality, and to learn to deal with interpersonal relationships correctly.(2) Boarding schools should take measures to popularize psychological knowledge, to promote peer support, to strengthen teacher-student contact and to create a good school spirit and style of study. |
