In recent years,the problem of domestic verbal violence has received more and more attention.However,the current research on verbal violence is mainly aimed at teachers’ verbal violence and network verbal violence,and there are few researches on domestic verbal violence at present.In addition,existing studies lack exploration from the perspective of psychology,and most of the existing intervention programs are casespecific interventions for families or children,lacking a set of systematic,efficient and large-scale intervention programs for children.Therefore,on the basis of summarizing domestic and foreign studies on domestic verbal violence and non-violent communication.The study identified the incidence of violent behavior in the family and developed a group discussion plan to reduce violent communication among students.The effectiveness of this program has been confirmed by experiments that have helped junior high school students improve verbal violence in the family by parents and promote the development of relationships between parents and children.Improving the level of mental health of junior high school students.On the basis of comprehensive domestic and foreign studies on domestic verbal violence and non-violent communication,this study compiled the frequency scale of domestic verbal violence,developed a group counseling program to reduce domestic verbal violence experienced by the junior high school students through non-violent communication,and the effectiveness of the program has been proven through experiments that helped junior high school students reduce domestic verbal violence perpetrated by their parents and promote the development of parent-child relationships.Improving the level of mental health of junior high school students.In the first study,questionnaire survey was used to compile the scale of frequency of domestic verbal violence based on the classification of domestic verbal violence proposed by Chen Luying(2018)and the questionnaire of domestic verbal violence compiled by Li Zhen(2017),and the Non-violent Communication scale based on the theory of non-violent communication.The questionnaire on Parent-child Interaction of Junior High School students was distributed to 1089 junior high school students in Xiangyang City,Wuhan City,and Jiangmen City,Guangdong Province through the Star platform.The questionnaire contains four scales,namely,the Frequency of Domestic Verbal Violence scale,the Nonviolent Communication Scale,the Parentchild Intimacy scale and the Mental Health scale for Middle school students.After the data is collected,the reliability and validity of Domestic Verbal Violence scale and Non-violent Communication scale were tested,and the influence of domestic verbal violence on variables and non-violent communication on domestic verbal violence were studied.Based on the theory of non-violent communication,Study 2 uses non-violent communication team counseling for junior high school students with domestic verbal violence problems and develops an intervention plan for non-violent communication group counseling activities.Based on Study 1,four scales in Study 1 were used as measurement instruments for the experimental and control groups with good reliability and validity.to investigate the effect of a non-violent communication group counseling intervention on domestic verbal violence of junior high school students.The results are as follows:(1)The domestic verbal violence frequency scale contains two dimensions,namely explicit domestic verbal violence and implicit domestic verbal violence,with a total of 8 items.The reliability of each subscale and the total reliability of the scale were above 0.85,and the indicators of confirmatory factor analysis were in the fit range,and the reliability and validity met the requirements of psychometrics.Therefore,the domestic verbal violence frequency scale had good reliability and validity.(2)The non-violent communication scale is a single dimension,consisting of 4items.The reliability of the scale was above 0.7,and all indicators of confirmatory factor analysis were in the fit range,and both reliability and validity met the requirements of psychometrics.Therefore,the non-violent communication scale had good reliability and validity.(3)There are no statistically significant gender differences in domestic verbal violence and its dimensions.(4)In terms of domestic verbal violence and its dimensions,the total score of domestic verbal violence and explicit domestic verbal violence are significantly different in grades,and students of the first grade are much higher than students of the second and third grades.(5)For the total score and dimensions of domestic verbal violence,the scores of students with lower and poor scores were significantly higher than those with intermediate and above scores.Specifically,in terms of the total score of domestic verbal violence and the explicit domestic verbal violence dimension,the scores of students with lower and poor scores were significantly higher than those with medium and above scores.However,for the dimension of implicit domestic verbal violence,the scores of students whose with lower than average achievement are significantly higher than those with average and above achievement,and the scores of students with low achievement are significantly higher than those with high achievement.(6)The total score of domestic verbal violence and its dimensions are significantly different in terms of the father’s education level.The students whose father is less educated suffer from domestic verbal violence and its dimensions are significantly higher than the students whose father is more educated.(7)The total score of domestic verbal violence and the dimensions of implicit domestic verbal violence are significantly different in terms of the mother’s education level.The students whose mothers are less educated are significantly more likely to suffer domestic verbal violence and implicit domestic verbal violence than the students whose mothers are more educated.(8)Domestic verbal violence can negatively predict parent-child relationships between junior high school students and their parents,that is,the higher the degree of domestic verbal violence,the lower the degree of parent-child relations,the lower the parent-child relationship,and invisible verbal violence in the family has the greatest impact on parent-child relations.(9)Domestic verbal violence can positively predict the level of mental health of junior high school students,that is,the higher the degree of domestic verbal violence,the higher the level of mental health,the lower the level of mental health and invisible verbal violence in the family had the greatest effect on the level mental health.(10)Non-violent communication has a significant negative impact on domestic language violence and its dimensions,that is,the higher the score of non-violent communication,the lower the score of domestic language violence and its dimensions.(11)Junior high school students suffer the most frequent implicit domestic verbal violence.From the perspective of all dimensions,junior high school students suffer the most comparative domestic verbal violence and the least command domestic verbal violence.(12)Non-violent communication group counseling can significantly reduce the frequency of domestic verbal violence,promote parent-child relationship,and improve the mental health level of junior high school students. |
