Looking at the current academic research on Xin Qiji and Zhu Xi, most were from literature, history, philosophy, art and other angles, fewer people go to discuss their musical thought contrast between, especially the research of Xin Qiji’s music thoughts is very little. In this paper, the Southern Song Dynasty famous poet Xin Qiji and thinker Zhu Xi and anchored their writings, combined with the political, economic, cultural, social and historical context, to explore the nature of Xin Qiji and Zhu Xi musical thoughts, different causes, and both performance and meaning,I hope to make the reader a more comprehensive understanding of musical culture of the Southern Song, Song literati understand musical thought, pioneering Sim, new areas of comparative study of Xin and Zhu’s musical thought.The full text of three parts, sub-five chapters are discussed. The first part of the first and second chapters:Introduction chapter discusses the main purpose is to conduct a comprehensive Xin Qiji and Zhu Xi’s musical thought comparative study, significance, research status, research methods and other issues. Section 2 summarizes the overall analysis of the political, economic, cultural and artistic, academic thought and so the Southern Song Dynasty, the reader a clearer understanding of the social and cultural context of the Xin and Zhu’s musical Thought. Chapters 3 and 4 for the second part, the focus of the entire article at, respectively, discussed ways to Xin and Zhu’s musical thought were analyzed.
