"Messiah" Aria "cheer It! A Study On The Artistic And Singing Techniques Of Zion

“Rejoice greatly,0 daughter of Zion”,is a song in Handel’s “Messiah” which high degree of soprano arias to express praise for God through melodies and lyrics preach the gospel of peace sense of the sacred. For professional vocal students, this piece is not only a learning method coloratura singing Baroque model, can also enhance artistic accomplishment in the process of learning the concert. In this paper,“Rejoice greatly,0 daughter of Zion” as the research object, trying to analysis Handel’s oratorio of the artistic and singing skills. Article is divided into three chapters, the first chapter introduce the background and analysis artistic of creative features. This chapter selected three classical concert versions to compare in order to intuitive understanding, the third chapter in conjunction with their questions and personal experience in learning this works interpret the understanding and thinking. I hope that through learning to sing this piece at the same time, this piece can be understood from various angles, while the majority of today’s domestic evoke the importance of vocal learners oratorio, understanding Baroque composers writing style features, vocal music skills development, piece style grasp, including the composer reflects other aspects of religious studies, and further understanding of the value of singing Handel soprano arias and vocal teaching.
