Instrumental Music Teachers are minority in the teacher association. They not only are responsible to teach theory, illustrate the aesthetics, but are capable to perform musical instruments and create the aesthetic sounds. Now, many music instrument teachers are not so much qualified in terms of professional knowledge, performance capacity, music communication capacity, etc.Some have strong professional qualities, but lacking the personal qualities as a teacher. Others are good at theory, but don’t have necessary professional qualities and skills. As teachers who are in charge of teaching musical instruments, they should guide, train and assist students to participate, understanding and express their performance. This research, by sorting out the particularity of the features of the music produced by musical instrument as well as the essences of the work of music instrument teachers, reaches a rational knowledge of the essential attribute of musical instrument teachers’ work. The writer hopes the research may promote and contribute to the building of a strong team of musical instrument majored teachers.
