A Study On The Poems

Many famous scholars, pandits, and translators have been grown up constantly in our Snow-Land of Tibet. Especially, there are great poets in yellow hat sect of Tibetan Buddhism. The poets have own rhetoric style to write poetries which are differently featured in different centuries. At the end of the 18th century and beginning of the 19th century, Bis pa ngag dbang mi pham zla ba was the most famous scholar and greatest poet in north and south of Amdo area, whose writings was regarded as standard among the scholars at that time. Therefore, researching all his writings is a wide topic for me, more specifically I focus on his poetries and figure out the charcteristics of his theme and style of poetries. This research paper is consisted of five chapters with an appendix:the first chapter briefly introduced the biography of Bis pa ngag dbang mi pham zla ba and his works. The second chapter described background of society and his poetry status at that time. The third chapter analyzed his great poetries. The fourth chapter introduced the feature of his poetries. The fifth chapter introduced the value of his poetry and how other scholars evaluated Bis pa ngag dbang mi pham zla ba. By the way, the theory of Tibetan written message is briefly introduced. In conclusion, Bis pa ngag dbang mi pham zla ba was a great poet and Buddhist scholar in Amdo area.
