World women’s liberation movements led to the appearance and development of the western feminist literary criticism.In recent years, influenced by western feminism theory, Chinese feminist literary criticism theory has continued to mature.This provides a gender perspective for us to re-examine the hundreds classic “A Dream of Red Mansions”. Therefore,this paper from the female perspective,explores that “A Dream of Red Mansions” has showed the feminist color.Besides the introduction and concluding remarks,this paper includes three chapters.The first chapter The ideological value of feminism of “A Dream of Red Mansions”.From slave society to imperial time, women have been dominated by men, literary works mainly depict male society, male attention and praise men.But “A Dream of Red Mansions” from the perspective of women, pays attention to the female life and female existence value, and determines the status of female subjectivity. “A Dream of Red Mansions” show the female value pursuit.The second chapter The aesthetic pursuit of feminism of “A Dream of Red Mansions”.“A Dream of Red Mansions” focus on writing many women,exquisite describes the characters, and expresses the author’s affirmation to woman.The work shows the poetic beauty of woman,the gentlewomanly beauty of woman and the masculinity,and the pure and persistent emotional beauty of woman,the work shows the author’s unique aesthetic values and aesthetic taste.The third chapter, Feminist creative strategy of “A Dream of Red Mansions”. Because “a dream of red mansions” is a female biography, and focus on women, so the author uses feminist writing strategies instead of the traditional male wtiting methods in the process of creation.Feminist writing strategies mainly reflect in two aspects, one is the "androgynous" creation characteristic, two is the personal theme--the choice of women’s daily life.
