Research On The Development Of Cultural And Creative Industry In Yunnan Based On SWOT Analysis

Cultural creativity industry is praised as the gold industry of the21th century, and has already become one of the pillar industries increasingly supporting each nation’s development. It is profoundly changing world-wide industry division and industrial structure. Speeding the development of cultural creativity industry is advantageous to realizing the coordinated and sustainable overall economic and social developments, to helping the combination between culture, science and technology, and to generating new industries.The cultural creativity industry in Yunnan province faces both opportunities and challenges. By applying SWOT analysis model, this study analyzes strength, weakness, opportunity and challenge in the development of cultural creativity industry comprehensively. According to the conclusion of this study, the author, from governmental perspective, puts forward the strategic choice in developing cultural creativity industry in the province. The case study of pristine large-scale dance "Impression of Yunnan" gives some successful experiences to develop the provincial cultural creativity industry.
