This paper aims at exploring the unique aesthetics of poetry concerning Sichuan Road in Tang dynasty and explaining the close links between Sichuan Road of a-thousand li and poetry of Sichuan Road in Tang dynasty through revisiting the geographical location of the Sichuan Road, and systematically combing and analyzing its poetry in Tang dynasty. Chapter one discusses the background, the definition of geographical location of Sichuan road, relative research results in the history and the creative point in this paper. Chapter two discusses the poetry of Sichuan Road in Tang dynasty in terms of road section before Tang dynasty and during Tang dynasty and conducts comparative research about poetry of Sichuan Road with different destination as well. Chapter three combs and analyses the characters, plants, animals,space and time of poetry of Sichuan Road in Tang dynasty, trying to study the unique literary imagination in these poetry. Chapter four explores the poetic origin from prototype of poetry, sublime beauty and ecological beauty of poetry. Chapter five is the conclusion, which systematically summarizes the close relationship between Sichuan Road and Tang poetry, redefines historical status of Sichuan Road from the aspects of its ecological value, cultural value and interprets the poetry of Sichuan Road’s far-reaching impact on future generations.
