The main content of this research is focused on women’s life in the south of the Yangtze river during the Ming and Qing dynasties, under the geographical space angle, analyzing the Buddhist space deeply in women’s lives. In this paper, the author classified space of the Buddhist space in women’s lives though the information in literature fiction. And specific to the daily life of the women who lived in the scholars’ family in Suzhou, the data of diary and female poetry offered information to discuss the type of space and how they exist. Finally, the author analyzed the distribution of Buddhist space in women’s life during the years through the local records data. |
