They had the identity of Shanghai’s settlers and observers: Eileen Chang was born in Zhang’s residence located in concession and owned noble descent’s lineage. She had unique experience and profound insight which let her realize Shanghai. She felt tree ink to build Shanghai’s world under women’s view. Wang Anyi moved to Shanghai only one with “cadres†parents. As an urban stranger, she had the repulsive childhood forced by local children. This made her urgently want to blend in the civil society. Shanghai is the power of Wang Anyi’s literary. They had the long experience of living in Shanghai and loved the city and person.After scanning Eileen Chang and Wang Anyi’s literary, the author find their literary around Shanghai and Shanghai’s person occupied most of the total, such as Eileen Chang’s The Whole of Love, Jin Suo Ji, Ban Sheng Yuan, Wang Anyi’s Chang Hen Ge, Fuping, Mei Tou. They wrote Shanghai and Shanghai’s person under their best capabilities. They aware and wrote the Shanghai’s world form their own life experience and awareness under the settler and observer’s identity: They painted the ‘Villa’ and ‘Alley’, ‘Gossip’ and ‘Whisper’ under the women’s view and sensitive to show Shanghai’s urban landscape. They deeply felt about Shanghai people’s efforts in their daily life, but also realized the mutual influence between the city and people as the residents of Shanghai. They both thought the spirit of Shanghai actually contained in the daily life and Shanghai’s women were the city’s best behalf. So they choose Shanghai’s women as the object of writing in order to further analysis Shanghai’s daily life. They attempted to explain their unique awareness of Shanghai’s city and people. They wrote the unique awareness, women’s feeling relying on Shanghai’s women and this day-to-day narrative written highlight the petty and detailed female narrative characteristics. They were common in buliding the world of Shanghai by the female narrative way under women’s view.In this paper, the author focus on their Shanghai’s written and analysis Eileen Chang and Wang Anyi’s difference in their life, experience and aesthetic of awareness of Shanghai and Shanghai people. From ‘female’ Shanghai, Shanghai’s women and transcendence of other city three aspects, the author cast the commonality and diversity of the Shanghai world upon their literature creation.
