Effects Of Suppression Control On Delayed Choice Of Children 's Pro - Social In Different Situations

Prosocial delay choices is a pro-social behavior to young children, at the same time of pro-social choose delay, that is a kind of altruism. With further research on prosocial behavior and delay of gratification, scholars pay more attention to prosocial delay choices. Young children’s prosocial delay choice behavior affect their social development, at the same time to explore children’s prosocial delay selection can not only provide theoretical basis for the development of young children, but also in practice cultivate children’s prosocial delay choice behavior, and promote the development of the prosocial behavior and social. Inhibitory control is a kind of important quality of preschoolers. Its impact on children prosocial behavior and delayed gratification makes obvious, and in the past a lot of research we can discover, inhibitory control ability is an important factor on children’s prosocial behavior and delay of gratification, therefore, this study will explore different inhibitory control ability influence on children’s prosocial delay choices. We discussed the stability of children’s prosocial delay choices at the same time adding the situational factor. Because children’s emotional range is larger in different groups for a long time, and emotions have important inflence on the social behavior of the individual, therefore it is necessary to join emotion in this study.Through experimental method and the method of conversation, this study discussed the differences in the levels of inhibitory control ability; Analyzed under the condition of the different motivation level, peer relations, high and low inhibitory control ability young children’s prosocial delay choice; Study three joined the situational factor to explore the difference of the prosocial delay choices behavior in different situations.Three studies reached the following conclusions:(1) Children inhibitory control ability does not exist gender differences, but different children in inhibitory control ability are different, according to different levels of ability we have to make different education and guidance.(2) In share about myself, for others to share and entirely altruistic motivation level, high and low inhibitory control ability preschoolers exist significant difference; Facing to two companion relationship preschooler’s prosocial delay choice behavior will also vary because of its inhibitory control ability. All children in front of the companions they like tend to choose prosocial delay, but facing to the children they don’t like have very significant difference, the children of weak inhibitory control ability are not willing to share for others. The level of inhibitory control ability of children has no significant gender difference on prosocial delay choice.(3) The situational is the important factor that affects children’s prosocial delay selection, in different situation with high and low inhibitory control ability children’s prosocial delay selection does not have stability and consistency. Don’t start the emotional premise, weak inhibitory control ability young children were affected by group pressure under the like peer relations, and high inhibitory control ability children affected by group were not significant; In positive mood state, high and low inhibitory control ability children under two kinds of peer relations pro-social delay options wre not affected by population pressure; And under the negative emotional state, weak inhibitory control ability preschoolers in the face of love partner were influenced by the population pressure, so as to change their choices.From this study we can find that effection of emotion, population pressure and the peer relations to children’s prosocial delay choices. Different level of inhibitory control preschooler’s prosocial delay choices will change because of the change of situation, therefore, this study provide theoretical basis for young children’s social development and education, at the same time, we can make use theory to guide practice, create good environment for children to promote the development of their prosocial delay choice behavior.
