| The study have investigated the bilingual inhibitory control ability and its mechanism in different proficient levels' bilingual. The subjects took part in the two experiments. The first experiment used to stroop task that investigated the bilingual inhibitory control ability in different proficient levels' bilingual. The second experiment used to stimulus-stimulus and stimulus-response compatibility task that investigated the bilingual inhibitory control ability's mechanism in different proficient levels' bilingual. The results are as follow: (1) the balanced bilingual ism's bilingual inhibitory control ability are better than the unbalanced bilingualisms'. (2) The mechanism of bilingual inhibitory control ability are differences in different subjects. The balanced bilingualism's conflicts control ability are better than the unbalanced bilingualisms' at levels of response activation in the interference condition of Chinese color words; the balanced bilingualism and the unbalanced bilingualism have the same conflicts control ability at the levels of perceptual processing in the interference condition of Chinese color words; The balanced bilingualism's conflicts control ability are better than the unbalanced bilingualisms' at levels of perceptual processing in the interference condition of English color words; the balanced bilingualism and the unbalanced bilingualism have the same conflicts control ability at the levels of response activation in the interference condition of English color words. ( 3 ) Bilingualism is associated with more effective controlled processing in young people. |
