| Rhetoric teaching is an important part of teaching Chinese as a foreign language, but because of the cultural differences, learners often appear on the figures of speech comprehension and use of improper, bring difficulties to the learning and teaching. This article from the Chinese rhetoric and figures of speech in English Comparative study on this point of view, systematically explained the definition, characteristics, classification of rhetoric, and then made a comparative analysis of the typical Chinese rhetoric and figures of speech in English from the typical language and cultural aspects, and discusses the importance of rhetoric teaching in teaching Chinese as a foreign language. Then from the Perspective of rhetoric teaching, put forward some suggestions, expecting to be helpful to the practical teaching. |
