A Study Of Li Shangyin 's Dazhong Poetry

Li Shangyin is one of the most influential poets in the Tang, though the evaluation is not high, but people after Tang Dynasty were very appreciated to him. Xikun genre was very popular in the Northern Song Dynasty, the study of Li Shangyin’s poetry gradually attention after the Ming and Qing Dynasties. However, few people have intercepted a dynasty to research Li Shangyin’s poetry creation. Select the Dazhong period of Tang Dynasty there are two reasons, one is because in Dazhong period Li Shangyin”s life and poetry creation all appeared more obvious changes. The other reason is the evaluation for rule of the Dazhong period has a lot of contradiction and great research value.This article attempts to analyze changes and characteristics of the poetry of Li Shangyin during Dazhong period, through the study of political situation of Dazhong period and the change of the poet situation. And to investigate the attitude of Li Shangyin to the Tang Dynasty emperor Xuan, the court, on all aspects of society from these poems. And combined with the historian comments on Tang Dynasty emperor Xuan ’s rule, comparie or supplement each other.We will have a more profound understanding of Li Shangyin’s last twelve years of life and poetry creation.
