Al-Shabaab is a salafism organization associated with Al-Qaeda, fighting for the creation of a fundamentalist Islamic state in Somalia, but also the major Somali rebels.Al-Shabaab was born in Somalia among the special social environment and pursuing Jihadi-Salafism. Multi power laid siege to Al Shabaab, it entered low tide after 2011.Al-Shabaab colluded with Somali pirates, and joined the Al-Qaeda, completely become a terrorist organization. Now as a branch of Al-Qaeda, Al-Shabaab has become an important part of Zawahiri’global jihadist network, impeds the peace process in somalia and national reconstruction.It’s a serious threat to regional security situation.The Al-Shabaab problem isn’t just a matter of somalia’s internal affairs, but also a regional problem.Al-Shabaab, the Al-Qaida Islamic Maghreb and Boko Haram continue to cooperate in Africa. Africa is under the continuing penetration from international terrorism forces, the three terrorist organizations have the tendency of confluence. Therefore, the international community with somalia the federal government need to work together.On the one hand to rebuild the Somali state, restoring the national economy; On the other hand, we need to increase efforts to crack down on Al-Shabaab, included in the peace process in somalia, block the contact between Al Qaeda, Somali pirates.
